Laku6Global Entrepreneurship Internship programme (geip) in indonesia jakarta
I worked on daily content scheduling and was actively involved in the filming and production team, where I helped conceptualise, shoot, and edit weekly promotional videos and social media ads. Alongside content creation, I designed campaign visuals and digital promotional assets to support product launches and events.
I was also given access to Shopee Seller Centre and Meta (Facebook) Business backend, where I tracked ad engagement, click-through performance, and content reach. Each week, I compiled insights from these analytics dashboards and shared them either directly with my supervisor or during marketing meetings to help shape upcoming content strategy.
This internship sharpened my initiative, adaptability, and cross-cultural communication, while reinforcing a key insight—design and content only become effective when they are backed by performance data and user engagement metrics.
*Note: Most files were confidential and kept on the company system. The visuals shown aren’t fully mine, but I was part of the creation process.
Beyond the work itself, living and working overseas for six months taught me resilience in a very real way. Being in a new environment—navigating language barriers, unfamiliar routines, and cultural differences—pushed me out of my comfort zone. I learned how to adapt quickly, stay independent, and build connections from scratch, whether it was figuring out daily commutes, settling into a new workplace dynamic, or simply learning how to communicate confidently in a setting where I was the only foreign intern. There were moments of uncertainty, but those experiences shaped my confidence and independence.
